The amount of personal data being held by organisations has dramatically increased over recent years and continues to increase. The Data Protection Act aims to balance the rights of individuals to privacy with the legitimate interests of organisations to ‘process’ personal data.

This data protection online training course is aimed at everyone who handles data, it will help you to understand your obligations as an employee of an organisation that ‘uses’ peoples personal data to deliver its service.

Course duration: 1 day (6 hours) for up to 15 learners

Place of study: Venue of your choice

Support: Your trainer will answer any questions on the day, email support for the following week.

Assessment: Targeted questions throughout the day. If formal accreditation is requested learners will submit their learner file.

Certificate: CPD certificate on the day. If formal accreditation is requested the certificates take approx. 1 – 2 weeks.
