Engagement and Participation

Engagement and participation continues to be key area of work in the voluntary and community sector.  Active participation creates an environment in which staff, volunteers, service users and community members are involved in the development and shaping of services delivered to them.

This course is for anyone who wants to encourage and support individuals and communities to engage. The skills and understanding developed will enable a more robust approach to engagement and participation.

Course duration: 1 day (6 hours) for up to 15 learners

Place of study: Venue of your choice

Support: Your trainer will answer any questions on the day, email support for the following week.

Assessment: Targeted questions throughout the day. If formal accreditation is requested learners will submit their learner file.

Certificate: CPD certificate on the day. If formal accreditation is requested the certificates take approx. 2 – 3 weeks.

Recognition: You can choose between CPD certified or a formally recognised accreditation (Formal accreditation incurs an additional cost of £20 pp)
