All community groups or voluntary organisations will have volunteers (and if they’re lucky, paid staff!). You need to consider the process of volunteering within your organisation. A good starting point is to understand and develop a volunteer policy.

Our managing volunteers’ courses cover everything from developing your volunteer policy to the recruitment and selection of volunteers and providing support and supervision.

For those new to managing volunteers we have an introduction to management course which will be of great benefit both to you and the volunteers that you manage. Our courses will give you piece of mind, ensuring that you have the right skills to help grow your organisation and the volunteers who give you their precious time to help support your cause.

In addition we have a team of experience community development officers, who can answer questions about managing volunteers (and staff), supporting you in your learning journey.
