A clear understanding of the key duties, behaviours and outcomes is vital in maintaining your organisation’s reputation and reducing risk. Effective policies and procedures have to be based on detailed knowledge of the issues to be identified and addressed with a clear implementation plan.
This safeguarding policy and procedure online training course is for committee members/trustees, safeguarding designated person/s and anyone else who is responsible for developing and implementing safeguarding policies and procedures that are fit for purpose.

In house/classroom version – Cost: £450 (+VAT) + travel
Course duration: 1 day (6 hours) for up to 15 learners
Place of study: Venue of your choice
Support: Your trainer will answer any questions on the day, email support for the following week.
Assessment: Targeted questions throughout the day. If formal accreditation is requested learners will submit their learner file.
Certificate: CPD certificate on the day. If formal accreditation is requested the certificates take approx. 1 – 2 weeks.
Recognition: You can choose between CPD certified or a formally recognised accreditation (Formal accreditation incurs an additional cost of £20 pp)
