All community groups or voluntary organisations working with children, young people or adults at risk need to ensure that all volunteers and staff  have adequate safeguarding training.

If you are on a management committee or are a trustee, and training is not provided, if something goes wrong you may be legally responsible.

We offer training on policies and procedures and the designated safeguarding person. In addition we offer basic safeguarding awareness for people working with children, adults or both. Remember safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

In addition we have a team of experienced safeguarding specialists, who can answer questions about safeguarding best practice, supporting you in your learning journey.
